Puttur: Illegal stock of petrol, diesel found - Case filed against accused

Puttur, Nov 1: Sampya police have unearthed the petrol and diesel that was stocked illegally in a shop at Arlapadavu of Panaje village of Eshwaramangala in the taluk and confiscated the same. A case in this connection is filed against the accused. The accused used to sell this at higher price.

Sampya police station SI Udayaravi and team acted on definite information and raided the shop in Kana complex of Arlapadavu. Police confiscated 43.5 liters of petrol worth Rs 3,480, 45 litres of diesel worth Rs 3,150 and cash of Rs 480. A case against Yousuf K A, owner of the shop and resident of Arlapadvu is registered by the police.
