Kasargod: Hundreds stranded after train departs before schedule

Kasargod, Nov 3: The Lokamanya Tilak Express train which runs between Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram arrived an hour ahead of its arrival time on Monday November 2 morning. Passengers who arrived on time were shocked to learn that the train had departed.

Hundr of passengers were affected by this incident. About 150 persons including women had booked tickets online to travel by this train. They came to the railway station sometime before the train's arrival schedule but were taken aback when they came to know that the train came an hour early and sped away leaving them behind.

The agitated passengers raised hue and cry in front of the office of the station master but the officials were helpless. The passengers had to cancel their travel.
