Chikkaballapur, Nov 3: Karnataka is a land of graceful beauty and amazing arts. A lady from Chikkaballapur district in the plains has woven a magic in distant Canada and celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava there in a unique way.

Kavyashree Nagaraj is an international danseuse. She is the daughter of Lord Yoganandeeshwara temple at Nandibetta, and 'Naruberu' artist, T N Nagaraj. Kavyashree runs a dance academy, 'Kavyashree Art Foundation' which has been engaged in training 40 persons in Karnataka from abroad.

Kannadigas, Pallavi, Meghana, Greeshma and Harishitha have been ably assisting Kavyashree in personally providing dance training to 20 persons. With this, they have been doing their bit to showcase the beauty of Karnataka and the rich art heritage of this land to others so that Kannada culture is inherited by the next generation too.
