Bengaluru: Government asks college teachers to work from home

Bengaluru, Nov 5: Because of coronavirus infection, school teachers were asked to conduct classes from home. Thereafter, the teaching staff of many schools have been attending school and doing work.

The government has issued a significant order in the meanwhile. The teaching faculty of colleges have been asked to work from home from November 4 to November 11.

The order says that to enable them to make preparations needed for starting classes for the academic year 2020-21 like online/offline teaching, study material preparations etc, teaching staff of all the government and aided private colleges and all the universities have been permitted to work from home from November 4 to November 11.

At the same time, the order also says that the teaching staff as may be intimated by the principals will have to attend colleges to attend to any urgent tasks and also in case any examination-related work is required to be attended to.
