Mangaluru, Nov 30: Yuva Janata Dal has urged for action against those who are behind inflammatory graffiti in two places in Mangaluru. Akshit Survana, president of Yuva Janata Dal in the district stated in a press release that the writings were found in two different places within a week but the police department is yet to arrest the suspects.

“BJP is in power. Against whom did the Hindu organizations protest? BJP alleged that law and order deteriorated during the term of the other party governments. Why then is the BJP with seven MPs and MLAs silent when murders are taking place every day and now inflammatory writings are being found."

It is unfortunate that Shobha Karandlaje who used to come rushing during murders in the district is unaware of the deteriorating law and order in the district. Her urging in front of the media in Udupi recently for arresting the guilty when her own government is ruling is laughable. It is her responsibility to order for the arrest of the accused. There is fear that such writings may spoil the communal harmony in the district. Protests against the government will be inevitable if suitable action is not taken against the guilty, he stated in the press release.
