Kundapur: Thieves break open textile shop at night, decamp with cash

Kundapur, Dec 5: Thieves broke open the front shutter of a textile shop belonging to Chitrapadi village, Saligrama resident Mahabala Kulal situated near the national highway of Giliaru village on Tuesday night and decamped with cash.

The proprietor had kept the collection of his business in his Godrej cupboard in the shop. The thieves broke the lock and stole Rs 1,45,000. Mahabala Kulal lodged a complaint at Kota police station in this connection. The police team under the leadership of Kota station police inspector Santhosh B P and Pushparam have intensified investigations.
