Mangaluru, Dec 7: The 227th monthly theatre programme organized by Mandd Sobhann, an eminent Konkani cultural organization, on Sunday December 6 at 6.30 pm at Kalangan in Shaktinagar in the city helped to ease the loneliness of coronavirus pandemic. The auditorium was packed with spectators.

Renowned CA and music lover Alwyn Rodrigues rang the bell and inaugurated the programme. President Luvi Pinto, organizer Stany Alvares and secretary Kishore Fernandes were present on the dais.

Later 75 artistes of Sumel, Kalakul and Nach Sobhann presented the programme 'Yeva Nacha Tencha Vanga' (Come let us dance with them) created by Arunraj Rodrigues. This programme included Christmas songs, dances, short plays, band by Newstar Brass band Vamanjoor and Christmas game by Alwyn Bajpe team, which enthralled the audience.

Music was directed by Eric Ozario, drama direction was done by Vikas Lasrado and choreography was done by Rahul Pinto. The spectators were given Kuswar at the end of the programme.
