Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha Valencia unit organises Ayushmann Bharat Health Card Camp

Mangaluru, Dec 7: Ayushmann Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a scheme of the Government of India to provide free access to healthcare of the people of the country. The programme is a centrally sponsored scheme and is jointly funded by both the federal government and the states.

Taking note Catholic Sabha Valencia unit took the initiative in organising the camp which was organised on December 7 at Ferrer hall from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.

The camp began by invoking God’s blessings. Catholic Sabha Valencia unit president, Merlyn Rego welcomed the gathering. Fr Roque D’Sa, the parish priest lauded the members for organising the camp. Rajesh Mudarangady from Catholic Sabha Episcopal City deanery, president Patrick D’Souza the unit secretary, Tressy D’Souza were present for the inaugural programme.



The camp was attended by over 300 people. The programme was compered by Janet Pereira. All the members actively participated in the functioning of the camp.
