Udupi: Public entry to beaches banned during New Year’s Eve

Udupi, Dec 31: The district administration is taking all the possible measures as per the government guidelines to control Covid-19.

In the circumstances deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha and the related authorities have banned entry of people other than fishermen in all the sea shores in the district to prevent the spread of the virus. The ban is ordered expecting large crowds during the New Year eve at beaches and seashores from 6 pm on December 31, 2020 till 6 am on January 1, 2021.
