Udupi, Jan 1: The government of Karnataka sanctioned X category security cover with security vehicle for Pejawar Shree Vishwaprasannatheertha Sripada, who is the member of the Ayodhya Sri Rama Janma Bhoomi Trust also.
The security cover is provided from Thursday December 31 itself. Pejawar Swamiji, who is engrossed in the awareness campaign about Ram Mandir construction is touring all over India. Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat had urged the state government to provide suitable security to Swamiji in this context.
Pejawar Math authorities have expressed gratitude to the quick response by chief minister B S Yediyurappa, home minister Basavaraj Bommai, MLA Bhat and state DGP.
