Shivamogga, Jan 2: Minister K S Eshwarpapa said that an important issue would be discussed at the BJP state executive meeting being held in the city. His statement has given rise to speculations again about the possibility of change of the state leadership.

As soon as it was informed that the special meeting of the BJP would be held in this city, BJP leaders had said that an issue of strategic importance would be taken up for discussions there. On this issue, various things are in discussion among the people. Now, many feel that the leaders would have hinted about the leadership change that has been a hot topic for discussions since sometime.

Even though the issue of replacing the chief minister had been raised at the executive meeting held at Belagavi, the focus of attention there remained prohibition on cow slaughter.

There is the likelihood of the issue of Love Jihad taking the centrestage at the Shivamogga meeting. The leaders will also discuss about the need to educate the common people about the aim of the Farm Act. The possibility of the leadership change getting discussed at the meeting cannot be totally ruled out. As state BJP in-charge Arun Singh will be present at the meeting, its significance has got a further boost.
