Kasargod: Car hits policeman, occupants escape

Kasargod, Jan 2: Police personnel chased a car that was fleeing after hitting a policeman. The incident happened at Manjeshwar on Friday, January 1.

When the police personnel of Manjeshwar station were checking vehicles under the guidance of station house officer, Shyne., a car which was signalled to stop, had hit civil police officer, Sathish. After hitting him, the car moved away. The police chased the car. The driver of the car lost control over the vehicle which then hit a roadside tree. Three people inside the car ran away.

The police are investigating.
