Mangaluru: New Year Mass celebrated at Neermarga church

Mangaluru, Jan 2: The faithful of St Joseph the Worker Church, Neermarga, met the New Year by offering prayers and thanking the Lord for all the inexplicable benefits that indeed strengthened faith through the adoration of Blessed Sacrament led by Fr Maxim Rosario, estate manager of the diocese of Mangalore. Subsequently Holy Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, the Most Holy Mother of God, was celebrated by Fr Maxim Rosario and concelebrated by Fr Anil D’Mello, parish priest and Fr Timothy Saldanha, guest priest.

In his discourse, Fr Maxim helped the believers to comprehend the courage of a unique woman Mary and in the Light of the Word of God delineated that Mary is sanctified with grace and in this way brings one God’s blessings and thus inviting each individual to be a blessing for others through kind words, kind deeds and to speak well of others. Motherhood is a blessing, ways to make the New Year meaningful were then superbly annotated.

YCS and ICYM under the proficient directorship of Fr Anil D Mello, planned and executed meaningful liturgical celebration with utmost precision.
