28-year-old biker dies after getting hit by speeding truck in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 4: In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old biker was killed after he was hit by a speeding truck on the Eastern Express Highway. The accident occurred on Saturday evening in Chembur. The deceased identified as Nafeez Shaikh was a resident of Cheeta Camp in Trombay.

Meanwhile, the accused truck driver, Anwar Sayed, has been booked by Tilak Nagar police. Sayed who was also injured in the accident is being treated at Sion hospital.

The reckless driving of the truck driver had caused him to ram into the divider and kill the motorist, officials said.
