Mangaluru, Jan 5: In a tragic accident which happened at Bajal Faisalnagar in the city on Monday January 4, a scooterist fell into a roadside well and lost his life.
The victim of this accident was Ajith Kumar (23) from Chikkamagaluru who was staying in a rented house at Yemmekere here.
Ajith had visited the residence of a relative at Faisalnagar here. At around 7.00 pm, he was returning home in his two-wheeler when he lost control over the vehicle. The vehicle then rammed into the protective wall of the well while its rider, Ajith, fell into the well due to the impact.
Fire personnel came on the scene later and retrieved the body. By then Ajith was no longer alive.
A case about this accident was lodged in Kankanady town police station.
