Mangaluru, Jan 2: At a function at Bishop's House on Tuesday January 5, Bishop Peter Saldanha inaugurated the official YouTube Channel of St Vincent de Paul Mangalore Central Council.
The bishop in his speech highlighted the need of social media and lauded the efforts of St Vincent de Paul Society Mangalore Central Council and all the conferences in the Mangaluru diocese. He appreciated the help the society members render to the needy. He advised them also give to the needy hope while meeting their material needs.
Central Council president, Joe Coelho welcomed the bishop and Ajay Tellis and his team demonstrated the channel. Fr Francis D'Souza the diocesan spiritual director conducted the prayer service. Sanjay Miranda, the Central Council joint secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
