Bantwal, Jan 7: “The conference in Bantwal by Congress party at Mysuru division level to campaign against failures of the governments at the centre and the state is welcoming,” said veteran Congress leader and former union minister B Janardhan Poojary as he wished the best for the conference.
He conveyed his wishes to KPCC executive president Salim Ahmed who visited the residence of Janardhan Poojary in Bantwal on Wednesday.
“It is necessary for leaders and activists to join and stress on organizing the party. The activists should be given more importance. The authority will come searching for us if we work with dedication and sincerity. May Congress come to power in the state and the centre again,” he said.
Former KPCC secretary Kallige Taranath Shetty, Purushotham Chitrapura and Karunakar Shetty were present.
