Bengaluru: Governor presents Presidential medals at police investiture ceremony

Bengaluru, Jan 7: Karnataka governor, Vajubhai Vala presented the Presidential medals during the state police investiture ceremony held here, on Thursday.

Chief minister B S Yediyurappa, home minister Basavaraj Bommai and additional chief secretary of home department, Rajneesh Goyal attended the function.

In the morning, the chief minister dedicated the Mobile Plant Health Clinic and 40 Krishi Sanjeevini vehicles of the state horticulture department in front of the Vidhana Soudha.



The Mobile Plant Health Clinics and Krishi Sanjieevini vehicles will be allotted to different districts and the numbers will be increased in future, agriculture minister, B C Patil said.

The vehicles will visit the agricultural lands of the farmers and check the soil fertility, water and other aspects and advise the farmers to take suitable corrective measures.

Deputy chief minister, Lakshman Savadi, Cooperation Minister, S T Somashekar and MLA Bayya Reddy were present at the function.
