Mumbai: Yuva Sena stage protest against BJP MLA Kadam for shielding offenders, assaulted cop

Mumbai, Jan 13: Yuva Sena, the Shiv Sena youth wing staged protests at various locations in the city to condemn the act of BJP MLA Ram Kadam, who allegedly threatened an honest policeman on duty. The protest took place at Dadar, Bandra, Andheri, Goregaon, Kandivli and Ghatkopar demanding action against the MLA.

The Yuva Sena demanded that police file a case of sedition against three BJP workers for assaulting the constable, Yuva Sena secretary Varun Sardesai said.

It is reported that three BJP workers were travelling on one bike on Monday January 11 when they collided with another vehicle at Powai. When constable Nitin Khairmode tried to take them to the police station, they allegedly assaulted him. Two managed to escape while one has been arrested and booked for assaulting a public servant. It is alleged that BJP MLA Ram Kadam has intervened to shield the offenders.
