Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Feb 3: Shyamsundar Reddy (28), a software engineer, who reportedly is the main accused in the murder of Siddharth Devendar Singh (28), a relative of former chief minister late Dharam Singh, ended his life by making a noose by using his own shirt at Tirupati.

The matter came out into the open with inordinate delay. The decomposed body of Reddy was found near Tirupati. There is a likelihood of him having ended his life as he was apprehensive that the investigation team would catch up with him.

Reddy has been accused of joining his accomplice Vinod in kidnapping Siddharth Devendar Singh on January 19, murdering him and burying his body in the forest region at Nellur near Tirupati.

It is said that both Vinod and Reddy went to Tirupati after the murder, and after mutual discussion, decided to commit suicide. Shyamsundar hanged himself behind thorny bushes near Srinivasam Tallapaka pond at Tirupati. His body was recovered on Monday.

Vinod, who also tried to end his life was rescued by the police.
