Mumbai: Inspector commits suicide by shooting himself inside police station

Mumbai, Feb 14: On Sunday, February 14, 2021, an Assistant Police Inspector (API) of APMC Police station in Navi Mumbai committed suicide by shooting himself inside police station around 12 pm.

The deceased API, identified as Bhushan Pawar, used a service revolver. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared brought dead.

It is still unknown what forced him to commit suicide. He also had worked at the Hadapsar and Bhosari MIDC police station.
