Mumbai: Four arrested for killing boy who stole pipe at metro site

Mumbai, Apr 1: Four persons were arrested by the Powar police for killing a 17-year-old boy for allegedly stealing a steel pipe from a metro site. The incident took place at night on March 30. The four were arrested within five hours of killing the boy.

Aniket Bansode, after he was attacked by a security guard and supervisors, was taken to Rajawadi hospital where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. Umesh Parab (38), Sujatali Naushadali (26), Sachin Mandavkar (38) and Sandip Jadhav (30) were arrested later.

The four confessed to having attacked Bansode after the police caught them with technical help.
