Mumbai: Two arrested for selling oxygen cylinders in black

Mumbai, May 22: Two people were arrested from Jogeshwari by the crime branch allegedly for black-marketing oxygen cyliners. 25 cylinders and 12 oxygen kits worth Rs 7 lac were seized from them.

Firoz Saleh and his brother Salim Saleh were arrested and booked under sections of the Indian Penal Code, Essential Services Act and Disaster Management Act.

The police received a tip-off and acted upon it. A team led by inspector Ravindra Salunkhe and Sudhir Jadhav raided a shop in Jogeshwari and arrested two persons who had stocked oxygen cylinders and kits for sale in black.
