Mumbai: Virtual inauguration of London branch of Bharatiya Jain Milan held

Mumbai, May 24: The virtual inauguration of Bharatiya Jain Milan was performed by its chief promoter Dr D Veerendra Heggade on Sunday together with rituals.

Dr Heggade who wished the best for the London branch said that meetings should be held in it for exchange of opinions and experiences with efforts for unity and social work in the community.

Jain Kashi Moodbidri seer Swasti Dr Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Panditacharya said that there should be awareness about Jain religion for unity in the society.

“There are 1,375 Jain Milan branches in India and abroad. Let mutual love, faith and harmony grow through Jain Milan,” said Bharathiya Jain Milan national executive president Dr Surendra Kumar.

Bharathiya Jain Milan national president Suresh Rithuraj Jain, Hemavathi V Haggade, Anita Surendra Kumar, Shradda Amith and Dr Malavika were present. Information about digitalization by Dayanand Patil Murthy was provided. Mangaluru Jain Milan zonal president Pushparaj Jain administered the oath to the new office bearers and wished them well. London Jain Milan president Dr Narendra Aladangadi welcomed the gathering. Ashwini Prabhu rendered the vote of thanks.
