Mumbai: Woman ends life due to health problems

Mumbai, May 27: Owing to health problems, a 58-year-old woman allegedly ended her life by suicide at her residence in the eastern suburb of Mulund, the police reported on Wednesday May 26.

Trupti Rajesh, the deceased was reportedly found hanging from a ceiling fan in her apartment at a housing society in Mulund (west) late on Tuesday night, an official said. Shah, who lived with her husband and two children, took the extreme step when her family was asleep, the official added.

Initial investigations showed that the health issues the woman was suffering from would have prompted her to take the drastic step. An accidental death report has been registered in this regard and further probe is underway, the official added.
