Mundgod, Sep 1: As the birth centenary of Mother Theresa is being celebrated all over India, Loyola Composite Pre-university College here in Uttara Kannada district organized a two-day exhibition on Mother Theresa at the Loyola School auditorium on a grand scale, recently.
Sisters from “Sneha Sadan,” Keshawpur in Hubli solemnly inaugurated the exhibition and praised the venture to propagate the values of Theresa in and around Karwar district.
A video presentation titled “Mother Theresa and Her World” shown in the morning for students and teachers from neighbouring towns summed up the life and works of Theresa of Calcutta, spreading the message of humble christian service.
Fr. Johnson Pinto, principal, hailed Mother Theresa as a model of service for all religions and especially for the least, last and the lost.
Fr. Richard Mascarenhas, the hostel director, Sr Valentine and other religious from Mundgod were present.
The exhibiton was readied by students of high school and PU themselves under the guidance of Br Lancy Fernandes, who teaches in PUC and also is the assistant director of Loyola Children's Home (Hostel).
