Kundapur, June 25: State committee of Campus Front of India submitted as part of its ‘Balakarmikathe Nillisi, Shikshana Odagisi’ (stop child labour: provide education) campaign a memorandum to the block education officer.
“None of the children in the village should be deprived of education. The government should form a project of educating child labourers if any. The government needs to create awareness at the base level of gram panchayat, town panchayat, municipal council and city corporation about the programme to prevent child labour,” they stated in the memorandum.
Campus Front of India president Fayiz and district committee members Sahad Basrur and Mujahid Gangolli were present.
