Kundapur: Huge sea Turtles entangled in fishing net rescued, let back into sea

Kundapur, Jun 26: Two huge sea turtles which got entangled in an old fishing net and washed ashore at Kota Manooru Padukere beach were rescued and let back into the sea on Friday June 25.

These turtles got caught into old nets used by fishing boats that got cut while fishing and remained in the sea. Locals brought the matter to the notice of members of Sri Ram Friends.

Youth Karthik and Nagaraj rushed to the beach and enabled the turtles to get out of the net and later let them back into the sea.
