Bengaluru, Jun 26: "Relating to our demand for the change of the chief minister, we have appeared for the examination. We are waiting for the result, and that will come shortly," said tourism minister C P Yogeshwar. In retaliation, home minister, Basavaraj Bommai, said that no exams are held during the corona period. Yogeshwar said he has already explained to the leaders about the problems he personally has, and also about the problems faced by the state government and the BJP.

The minister said he is facing a lot of problems in strengthening the party in the old Mysuru region. He claimed that the BJP leaders have been indulging in politics, duly joining hands with the Congress and JD(S) leaders there. He wanted this to end, and stressed that on this issue, he cannot compromise.

In the meanwhile, Yogeshwar all of a sudden, rushed to Delhi along with national general secretary of the party, C T Ravi. It is said that the high command has summoned him to Delhi for violating the instructions of state BJP in-charge, Arun Singh, not to speak about the leadership change openly.
