Udupi, Jun 26: Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom here distributed ration kits to the people of Keelinje ward in Havanje gram panchayat area whose houses are sealed down on Saturday June 26.

Social worker Nityananda Volakdu gave away the food kits to the needy persons. He appreciated the noble work done by Malabar Gold & Diamonds Udupi showroom and said, “Malabar Gold & Diamonds is doing great work during the lockdown period. Many houses in Udupi are under sealed down. Malabar Gold & Diamonds initiated to help these households by distributing food kits. It is a noble work. Apart from the food kit, they also help in building of houses and also for the marriage of financially backward girls.”

On the recommendation of team Sanjevini, food kits were distributed to the Covid warriors in Badanidiyoor gram panchayat.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds Udupi showroom has distributed more than 5,400 food kits among the needy all over the district. Apart from food kits, they also help the needy in building houses, for the marriages of financially backward girls under its CSR activities.
