Mangaluru, Jun 28: The private city buses (route buses) which used parking space outside the bus stand on the side of the road near Hamilton circle road at State Bank, will be allowed to enter the service-KSRTC bus stand here.
As of now, private inter-district buses, private buses which travel within the district, and KSRTC buses were allowed inside the Bus Stand at State Bank. But, city buses were not allowed at the bus stand.
Assistant commissioner of police Nataraj said, "Earlier, city buses were parked outside the bus stand on the roadside on Hamilton road and Rao & Rao circle road which would create inconvenience to the public. Senior citizens and elderly people faced problems due to this. In the coming days, city buses will be parked inside the bus stand. This will be helpful to the public."
