Beltangady, Jun 28: Seon Ashram residents at Neria gram, here, won against Corona.

The ashram has 270 residents of which more than 225 were found to have been tested Corona positive. They have been treated at Dharmasthala Rajathadri Corona Care Centre for 29 days and out of 226, 150 people have returned to the ashram after getting cured.

There are mentally retarded, elderly, destitute and mentally ill among the residents.

Ignoring their own health, doctors and nurses treated the ashram residents. The test reports of the residents who returned were found to be negative due to the selfless work of the care centre staff.

The ashram staff and Neria villagers have welcomed back the ashram residents. The ashram was whitewashed and decorated. MLA Harish Poonja announced Rs 50 lac for the development of the ashram on the occasion.
