Kundapur: Former MLA K Gopala Poojary visits Gangolli primary health centre

Kundapur, Jun 29: Former MLA K Gopal Poojary visited Gangolli primary health centre on Tuesday and obtained details about the vaccination process at the centre.

“Awareness is created among people about vaccines. Vaccinations for people 45 years of age should be intensified. Vaccination camps should be held in the respective villages after identifying the number of people who are 45 years of age. The district health officer has been requested to provide a sufficient quantity of vaccines every day. A discussion will be held with the deputy commissioner for filling the vacancies in the hospital,” he said.

Gangolli primary health medical officer, Dr Amitha provided the necessary details. Congress leader Manjula Devadiga, Zaheer Ahmed Nakuda, Mujahid, gram panchayat member, Devu Shipay, hospital staff, ASHA workers and others were present.
