Mangaluru: P&G, Helpage distribute survival kits to needy senior citizens, financially deprived

Mangaluru, Jul 2: Helpage- as the word itself indicates, has since inception helped the elderly. Helpage tries to ease the life of aged people. Thus it works for the elderly in various ways. It intervenes in difficult conditions where the elderly face individual or societal issues. Thus it takes a keen interest in providing little comfort in the evening of the life of people. So Helpage works in vulnerable situations.

Today, due to Coronavirus- Coved-19 people face the problem of livelihood and are unable to feed themselves, as there is a lack of jobs, due to lockdown and suffering. The elderly are the people who are the most neglected sector in society. So, Helpage has come forward to ease the life of the elderly by providing them food kits, by which they will receive a bit of comfort and feel that there is someone who thinks about them.

Helpage all over India works to provide food for the elderly in old-age homes and in the elderly in their own homes. Helpage Bengaluru has been always kind enough to provide help to the residents of St Joseph Prashanth Niva, Jeppu and Spandana Trust, Jeppu, wherever and whenever possible in this pandemic time, where people face lots of problems, especially the elderly who are victims of this. In this tough time, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Helpage Bengaluru reached out to provide food kits to the people of St Joseph Prashanth Nivas and the elderly of the locality of Jeppu.
