Mangaluru, Jul 2: Wakf member Moulana Shafi Saadi clarified on the allegation made by former chairman of Karnataka State Minorities Commission and BJP leader Anwar Manippady, who alleged Shafi Saadi’s involvement in Wakf irregularities.

Shafi Saadi said that Manippady’s allegations are baseless. He also added that as Manippady is elder than him, he will not respond but forgive him. “Manippady is disappointed and jealous about Wakf president elections for which he is conspiring against me,” he said.

Shafi Saadi further tweeted, “If my supporters step to fight legally, then I will not be responsible for it.”
