Mangaluru: KPCC president to meet fishermen community on Jul 6

Udupi, Jul 3: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar will visit Udupi district on July 6.

He will participate in a meeting with the fishermen community on the same day.

"Due to the lockdown restrictions, increase in the prices of fuel and other necessary equipment, the fishermen community is facing a lot of trouble. To hear their grievances, MLA and KPCC president D K Shivakumar will be visiting Malpe port on July 6," said Congress leader and former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj.

Shivakumar will hold a meeting with the fishermen community and their leaders at 11 am at Malpe port.
