Kasargod, Jul 7: To register protest against the administration that allegedly denied access to humane concern and pity, a protest was held on Tuesday July 6 evening at Kollangana under the leadership of Kollangana St Thomas Church's Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit, against the ruling class for the custodial death of human rights activist, Fr Stan Swamy, and the attitude of the ruling class who has been accused of denying mercy to him. The protesters lit candles to pay tributes to the late activist.
The protest was held, duly following the Covid-19 guidelines, and many took part in the protest. Church priest, Fr Ritesh Rodrigues and office bearers of the church apart from ICYM local unit leaders led the protest.
