Puttur: Honeytrap case - Three get conditional bail

Puttur, Jul 7: All the three persons accused of honey trapping a youth with the involvement of a lady and forcing him to cough up Rs 30 lac, who were arrested on Monday, were granted conditional bail by the court.

The accused, Shaffi from Kotyady Kattepuni in Nettanige Mudnoor, Muhammed Azharuddin from Attikere, Savanur, and Nazeer living near Manthoor Ambedkar Bhavan in Savanur were granted interim conditional bail by the court of the additional senior judge and first class judicial officer's court.

Nooruddin Salmara had appeared to argue the case on behalf of Nazeer while Muhammed Shaffi and Azhar were represented by their lawyers, Durgaprasad Rai Kumbra and Siddique Mangaluru respectively.
