Mangaluru: Land filled with waste now turns selfie spot in Kodikal

Mangaluru, Jul 7: The place which was used to dump waste, is now turned into a beautiful selfie spot. The selfie spot is located at Kodikal in Bangrakuluru ward of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC).

MLA Bharath Shetty and mayor Premananda Shetty inaugurated this newly constructed selfie spot.

"A few people were dumping waste on the ninth cross of Kodikal and polluting the environment. Shri Nagabramaha Taruna Vrinda joined hands with me to realise my idea and turn the waste spot into a selfie spot. I thank Mangaluru's Pixel team for beautifying this spot through a colourful painting," said corporater Kiran Kumar Kodikal.

Deputy mayor Sumangala Rao, corporator Manoj Kumar, RSS leader Manohar Kodikal and others were present.
