Mangaluru: Scooterist killed in tanker collision

Mangaluru, Jul 12: A scooterist was killed after a bullet tanker hit his two-wheeler on Baikampady flyover. This accident took place on the night of Saturday.

The victim of the accident was Tejas (28), son of Merkaje Purushotham near Doddathota. He was working in a battery shop near Kulai in the capacity of an electrician. He was moving in his scooter when the above unfortunate incident happened.

The iron pipe fitted in the rear of the bullet tanker got inserted between the legs of Tejas after which he along with his scooter were dragged away for some distance by the tanker.
