Beltangady: Snake Joy Rescues Ten-Feet Long Cobra at Nellyady

Beltangady, Sep 19: A ten-foot long cobra was rescued by reptile expert Snake Joy on Friday September 17.

The cobra was found in the Kumara Kripa Estate, owned by Ramachandra Achar at Nellyady, here.

It was the 33rd large cobra rescued by Snake Joy.  He is dedicated to his hobby of rescuing the reptiles for over a decade.

The forest officers Prasad and Kiran also assisted in the rescue.  The trapped cobra was released into Charmadi Ghat, a few kilometers from here.

    It is good they did not put the cobra in the zoo where it would be treated badly. The forest is the right place for these wild creatures.

    In the last picture an old man is standing very close to the face of the King Cobra, which is really stupid and dangerous, Kindly in future do not encourage this kind of Photo oppertunity with Wild animals

    THEY RESCUED IT HERE & RELEASED IT CHARMADY HILLS, TO PUT SOME OTHERS LIFE IN DANGER.THE FOREST OFFICERS WORK IS OVER.NO OTHER PLACE FOR IT LIKE MYSORE ZOO.
