Mangalore: Police Seize Heroin Worth Rs 50,000, Arrest Two

Mangalore, Sep 19: Two people were arrested on Sunday September 19 for possession of 25 gms heroin valued at Rs 50,000.

Police inspector Tilak Chand, Mangalore South, and his team intercepted a Kinetic Honda near Kootichennayya Circle and arrested Suraj Kumar (28), resident of Kulashekara Cross Road, and Gowthamachandra B A (24), resident of Bikarnakatte, in this regard.

A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act 1985 at Mangalore South police station. The Kinetic Honda scooter as well as mobile phones, a laptop, jewellery and syringes were seized from the duo.
