Udupi, Sep 23: Gargi Shabaraya, a native of Perampalli, near here was presented with excellent achievement award for her performance at the south India-level classical music training camp held in Bangalore during May by Rushi Vasisht, deputy director of Central Cultural Resources and Training Centre, Hyderabad, in a glittering function held in Hyderabad, recently.
The training camp was organized by Central Cultural Resources and Training Centre, Hyderabad under union ministry of culture.
Gargi Shabaraya was granted scholarship by Karnataka Music and Dance Academy recently and pursued training under Vidushi Vasantalaxmi Hebbar. She is studying in the first year at Vidyodaya Pre-University College, here.
