Mangalore, Sep 23: Prof Rajeev Gowda renowned professor of IIM, Bangalore visited Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Adyar here, recently.
He gave a lecture on “India’s future challenges” to the management and engineering students of the college. He stressed on the opportunities available for the youth in India and called for developing innovation and creativity among the students. He suggested that the students should look beyond the curriculum and understand the current affairs. India is, at present known for its intellectual capital in international market, he added.
Subsequently, he delivered a talk on “Effective teaching methodologies” and had an interaction with the faculty members of the college.
Chairman of Bhandary Foundation Manjunath Bhandary addressed the gathering on the occasion.
