Sahamatha Film Society to Hold Film Appreciation Workshop on Sept 25, 26

Mangalore, Sep23: Sahamatha Film Society Mangalore in association with Karnataka
Chalanachitra Academy Bangalore will hold a two- day Film appreciation workshop at CODP Hall, Nantoor on September 25 and 26 for the lecturers and students of various collages.

The office- bearers of the film clubs will also be part of the workshop. These film clubs called "Belli Saakshi” have been formed in many colleges around the city with the help and guidance of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. They have been operating in Govinda Dasa College, Suratkal, Alva's Degree College Moosbidri, Government Junior College, Bokkapatna, Mahesh Pre-university college and Government Women First Grade College Balmatta for the past one year.

Moreover five film clubs will be set up in Karnataka Govt Polytechnic, Vijaya College Mulki, Besant Women’s College, Government First Grade College, Vittal and Gokarnanatheshwara College in the current year.

Sri Parameshwara Guruswamy of Bangalore is the resource person and Fr John Fernandes, chairman of Chair for Christianity, Mangalore University will inaugurate the workshop.
