Mangalore, Oct 20: A daylong workshop on 'Compliance and benefits of social security legislations will be organized by the department of human resources, Shree Devi Institute of Social Work on Saturday October 23.
Venkatesh A Shindihatti, assistant labour commissioner, Mangalore division will ianugurate the workshop in the college seminar hall.
shekar Pujari, chairman NIPM Mangalore Chapter will be theguest of honour and S Sadananda Shetty, chairman Shree Devi Education Trust will preside.
Social security laws such as Provident fund and miscellaneous provisions Act, Employee state insurance Act, Workmen’s compensation Act, Payment of Gratuity Act and Maternity benefit Act will be covered in the workshop.
Sapna K Shetty, assistant general manager-HR, Lamina Suspension Products Limited, Mangalore and Munikrishna, deputy manager-HR,MRPL, Mangalore will be the resource persons.
