Puttur, Oct 4: Student Divit Rai, who stole limelight by urging the government to stop unscientific transfer of government school teachers, is encouraged to do engineering by former DCM Dr G Parameshwar. The former DCM paid his college fee.

When Divit Rai was studying in eighth grade at government school at Harady of Puttur, the then government had taken out circular asking additional teachers of government school to be transferred. During that time, Divit Rai had prevented the transfer of his school teachers by raising a complaint with the then home minister Dr G Parameshwar.
