Kundapur: Ravi Katapadi selected for Panchavarna Rajyotsava award

Kundapur, Oct 5: Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala of Kota in the taluk is serving the society continuously for the past 24 years in the fields of social service, encouragement of art and love for the language. Every year this Yuvaka Mandala organizes Kannada Rajyotsava programme on November 1.

Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala identifies the achievers and honours them. In addition, they also conduct cultural programmes and provide helping hand to financially poor and sick families. In addition, they also honour brilliant students.

For this year’s Panchavarna Rajyotsava award, hope of sick and social worker Ravi Katapady is selected. He will be bestowed with this award on November 1 at the parking lot of Amrutheshwari temple near Varunatheertha pond in Kota. Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary will give away the award to Ravi as per the press release of the organization.

The earlier recipients of the award are Ravi Basroor, Mukhyamantri Chandru, Umashree from the cine field, Rishank Devadiga, Kabaddi player, Kota Suresh Bangera and H Sridhar Hande in the field of art, and Harekala Hajabba and Vishu Shetty Ambalpady for social service.
