Bantwal: 369th Alcohol De-addiction Camp Concludes

Bantwal, Oct 24: Human beings should frame boundaries to lead a morally upright life and rise above animals, said Sri Dhama, Manila seer Mohandas Swamiji.

He was speaking at 369th alcohol de-addiction camp valedictory ceremony held at Kakkepadav-Uli Government Model Higher Primary School here on Friday October 22. He called on people not to get addicted to substances and added that the camp participants should lead
transformed life after the help by increasing their self-confidence.

In his presidential address, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district Janajagruti Vedike president Saja Radhakrishna Alva said that such camps not only helps the addicts free themselves from the bad habit of
drinking, but also sends a message across to all the addicts in the vicinity.

Bantwal Janajagruti president Rukmayya Poojary, Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Project director Mahaveer Ajri, Bantwal project officer Chandrashekar Nellyadi, Zilla Panchayt member M Tungappa Bangera,
Janajagruti project officerZVivek V Pais, Camp yoga trainer, Venkatesh Damle, camp officer Raghavendra, Dr Manohar Rai and Janajagruti Vedike member Mylappa Salian amon others were present.

The Camp had 43 participants in all, who pledged to be free of alcohol.
