Mangalore: Mission Sunday, Blessing of Vehilcles Held at Kinnigoli

Mangalore, Oct 25: Mission Sunday and blessing  of the vehicles was held here in Kinnigoli Church. Kinnigoli parishioner, Bishop of Bellary Dr Henry D'Souza celebrated the morning mass herein the church.

People donated generously for the Mission Sunday, a day where we remember the missionaries who work in remote and rural areas.

Blessing of the vehilce was held after the morning Mass. Parishioners came along with their vehicle to get their vehicles blessed. Dr Henry D'Souza, conducted the prayer and blessed the vehicles along with  Fr
Alfred Pinto, parish priest, Fr Micheal Mascarenhas, assistant parish priest and Fr Victor Pinto.

Fr Alfred Pinto while explaining the importance  of safe driving requested the snot to give the vehicle in the hands of the children who are minor and do not have a valid driving licence.
